A Civil Forfeiture Grant has been awarded to Threshold Housing through the province’s Civil Forfeiture Office. This funding is designed to assist BC organizations with preventing violence against women and youth crime.
This grant funding will combat the crime of violence against women and other crimes in B.C. communities by offering financial support to many community-based programs that can make a difference in the lives of thousands of British Columbians. Attorney General and Minister of Justice Suzanne Anton
Our funding has been ear-marked as At-Risk Youth Engagement and will focus on our lifeskills programs, specifically our “self-worthshops”. These workshops take place several times a week and aim to increase self-esteem, safety, inclusion, and connectedness among youth.
