On Saturday October 5th, 2019, you can walk or ride your bike and have a positive impact on the at-risk youth in our community.
Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraising event that helps you support charities who provide refuge and hope for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. Everyone is welcome. The event is family-friendly with riders + walkers ranging in age from toddlers to seniors.

Threshold Housing Society works to prevent adult homelessness by providing safe housing, support services, and community to at risk youth. At Threshold Housing Society, we offer more than a safe environment: we provide a community for at-risk youth in Greater Victoria to call home. A place filled with support, understanding, and sanctuary, without judgement, where you’re accepted for who you are.
As we are a non-profit organization, that receives limited funding, we rely significantly on fundraising. Fundraising through this event is essential for our ability to continue to provide safe housing, support services, and community to the at-risk youth in our community. Please consider joining us to ride for refuge!
