Fundarising Wine Dinner:
the Wine & Food of Emilia Romagna
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 27 AT 6:30pm
The feature wine of the evening is the 2012 vintage of Ora, a rich and structured red made of 100% Sangiovese. This vintage received Tre Bichierri which is the highest Italian Wine Award.
What is really spectacular, though, is that this wine is made at San Patrignano, a foundation that helps homeless and drug addicted youth in Italy turn their life around.
We wanted to celebrate this amazing success story by donating $25.00 of each ticket sold this evening to the Threshold Housing Society that also helps homeless youth here in Victoria. |
In addition, we will be featuring two examples of Lambrusco, which is a signature wine of Emilia Romagna. We will start the evening with a very dry version of this sparkling red and we will finish with a unique, off dry version of this wine by Camillo Donati.
Of course all wines will be paired with a fantastic four course dinner prepared by our Chef, Peter Zambri.
