COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your contribution provides youth with more than a place to stay; it provides a stable and safe home environment and access to workshops, support, and other resources to help them transition into a healthy, independent adulthood.

You can give online, by mail, or by phone at 250-383-8830.

When you make an online donation, your personal and credit card information is safely transmitted by secure connection to our payment provider Stripe. 

As soon that transaction is complete, you should receive a confirmation by email and a receipt for tax credit. If you do not receive one, please check your junk mail folder or call us at 250-383-8830.

To change your mailing address, please call 250-383-8830 or email us with your new information.

 

If you need to cancel a payment or are having difficulties with your transaction, please call 250-383-8830 and we will be happy to assist you.

If you would like to set up monthly donations by automatic withdrawal, please email Shannon Whissell shannon.w@thresholdhousing.ca

To send a one-time electronic funds transfer through Interac by email,

  • add Threshold Housing to your online banking Interac by email contacts list
  • Use the email address assist@thresholdhousing.ca
  • Enter the amount of your gift and the date for the transfer
  • PLEASE note “donation” in the note field

You can easily cancel or change your monthly donation by contacting our office.

For those donors who have not received an email receipt at the time of their donation, official receipts for Income Tax purposes will be sent before the end of January in the year following your gift..

Donors who give online and provide an email address will receive their tax receipt as soon as the gift is processed.

If you gave offline and require a tax receipt before the end of the year, please contact our office.
