Janet Donald

Director

Janet Donald has worked in the provincial public service for almost thirty years. She has had the honour of working on social justice, housing and child welfare matters. She currently is the Executive director in Public Safety focusing on liquor and cannabis regulation. Janet earned an MSW in Social Policy and Community Economic Development from the University of British Columbia. She previous had the privilege of serving on the CoolAid Society board for eight years, including three as chair. Janet has a passion for housing and in particular youth housing as she believes this is the perfect time to interrupt and prevent adult homelessness by providing the support and services to youth in a manner that works for them. Janet is honoured to join the Threshold board and looks forward to supporting its vision and mission.
