Colin has dedicated his career to advancing solutions for people experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness. For more than 18 years, he has held leadership roles in the non-profit sector in Calgary and Victoria, working across housing, homelessness, and food security initiatives.
As Chief Executive Officer of Threshold Housing Society, Colin is passionate about preventing and ending youth homelessness. He believes every young person deserves a safe place to call home and the opportunity to build a healthy, hopeful future. Throughout his career, he has been driven by the belief that housing is one of the most powerful foundations for well-being, creating the stability people need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Colin is recognized for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to building strong organizational cultures, effective teams, and meaningful community partnerships. He is particularly passionate about advancing innovative approaches to youth homelessness prevention and helping create systems that better support young people before they experience housing instability.
In addition to his role at Threshold, Colin serves on the Board of Directors of A Way Home Canada, where he contributes to national efforts focused on preventing and ending youth homelessness through systems change, policy development, and community innovation.
Colin holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, connecting with friends over coffee, and getting out for a round of golf.
