Angela brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the non-profit social services sector, with a career dedicated to supporting individuals facing complex challenges, strengthening community, building teams, and advancing innovative housing and support programs. Her work began in Ontario, where she supported youth in care and newly arriving refugee families within the health care and family welfare systems. Since relocating to Victoria in 1999, Angela has held a variety of leadership roles across youth-serving and adult-serving organizations, building programs, leading organizational growth, and championing system change.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies as well as a Master of Arts in Law and Legal Studies from Carleton University.

As Chief Operating Officer at Threshold Housing Society, Angela is recognized for her values-based leadership, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to social justice. She believes that exceptional care for young people begins with exceptional care for staff, and she is passionate about creating workplace cultures grounded in trust, accountability, unconditional positive regard, and shared purpose. Her leadership approach focuses on empowering others, fostering strong teams, and building sustainable systems that create lasting impact for youth and communities.
