Announcing the Fun Fund⭐

Last week, I got a letter from one of our homes asking for help. One of our kiddos is finishing grade 10 and in a funny in between - too old for camp, but still craving fun activities for the summer time.

With our staff, she created a list of activities she would love to do in the warm weather. But almost everything had a cost, and after groceries and everyday necessities, there is little, if any, left over for joy. Even free things had transportations costs or needed specific outfits/tools/accessories.

It got me thinking: how are we making sure all of our young people have the chance to just be young - to try new things, have fun, and feel included?

That’s why we’re launching something new: the Fun Fund⭐

We are hoping this can be a magic wand, creating moments of happiness, connection, and belonging for the young people we walk alongside, because life is about more than surviving.

To get us started, we’re working to raise $7,000 to carry this through our first year.
